It's not as idea, since that means that if Im playing a game I would have to leave the game in order to do this, but it could work if the first option isn't. But if there is no way of doing this, I might be willing to settle for a shortcut to open the little window so I can click and select. my acer have that but another msi gaming. My question is, is there a shortcut I can set up? Perhaps a key combination that will automatically switch between Line-In and Headphones, which would be ideal (this is actually what Im hoping for). actually, some laptops realtek allows you to do connector retasking, that is converting the mic jack to be headphone jack. I know this pops up automatically whenever I plug the headphones in, but I would rather leave the headphones plugged in all the time because it's difficult for me to actually reach the jack and plug in the headphones, but this means I have to go the long way each time to open the manager and select the output. I can get to this window by manually opening HD Audio Manager and then clicking the small green input-icon in the bottom left and then I can select where I want the audio to play, either on my Line-in speakers or my headphones. When I plug my headphones into the headphone jack, the HD Audio Manager comes up and it open a small window where I get to select what I just plugged in (line-in, headphones, etc).
